about

We had the unforeseen privilege of spending a few days in North Ireland with incredible producer, engineer, artist Julie McClarnon who owns Analogue Catalogue.

To be back in the spaciousness of analogue was sheer wonderment, especially in the countryside, especially nestled at the feet of the Mourne mountains.

Julie guided this song exactly where it's meant to be. I hope you enjoy! Many thanks to Brian McClintic for lending his musicianship on the Hammond organ.

lyrics

There’s a bay where feathered ones befriended me
In the evening, it’s like you’re sleeping out at sea

Oh, she’s keeping time, yeah she’s keeping time
Like the time don’t waste her mind
Oh, she’s keeping time, yeah she’s keeping time
Until the time goes by

Thunder rolling, has it been this loud before?
Subdivision, nature isn’t ours to whore

Oh, she’s keeping time, yeah she’s keeping time
Like the time don’t waste her mind
You can keep your time, you can keep your time
‘Cus no time feels right

There’s a magpie, a woolly crow for company
They've got me thinking, who am I supposed to be?
